Frisco Lodging ??

If any of you have ever stayed at the Frisco in Reserve, please let me know your thoughts and when it was that you stayed there.

I'm considering it for my son's youth hunt after Christmas.

It's fine, as is the Adobe. I stay there off and on in the summer for work, and when I take my son on the late youth hunt down there. The food over at the adobe is the best in town, closed on goofy days though. Highway 180 and 12. Same owner.

HA HA, very funny.

Lot's of pro's and cons either way bud. The difference in fuel savings pays for a night or two vs. towing the 5th wheel.

If the weather is really bad I'll be happy I'm not towing my camper or staying in a tent!

Hot and cold running water, a thermostat on the wall, grocery store down the street, not to mention good 'ol Bill's bar. haha.

If the weather isn't terrible, I'd love to stay a week a slay a few dozen 'yotes.

I'm with you on the comfort factor especially when hunting with youth hunters. My niece started hunting last year at 9. When we camp with her we take everything including a TV and d.v.d's and of course her dang dog. She claims the dog will keep the bears away so she sleeps sound at night. We string out lights around the campfire and it looks like some darn disco in the middle of the mountains but, she loves it and will continue to hunt as long as it is enjoyable to her. Call me a sissy too but when my 2 year old starts hunting in a few years comfort for her is the top of my priorities.
