Dear Idaho Sportsmen and Women:

Members of the Idaho Trappers Association (ITA) have reported that a tremendous percentage of hunters, trappers,
anglers, hound hunters, falconers, etc are not yet aware of the significance of proposed constitutional amendment
HJR2, which will be on the Idaho ballot November 6th. HJR2 will preserve hunting, trapping and fishing as rights in
Idaho if it passes in the November election. The Idaho Trappers Association has launched a campaign to encourage
every outdoor enthusiast in Idaho to vote YES on HJR2 on November 6th. The ITA invites you to become a part of
this pro-HJR2 campaign.

(You can find more on HJR2 on the front page of www.idahotrappersassociation.com)

The ITA believes that legislation similar to HJR2 will never make it onto another ballot in Idaho if HJR2 fails this
November. That's why the ITA is so passionate about getting HJR2 passed in November. Senator Lee Heider (R-
Twin Falls), the author of HJR2, also knows a bill like this will likely never make it through the Idaho House and
Senate again, especially with something like 30 seats up for grabs in November! HJR2 must pass this November 6th!

The pro-HJR2 campaign already includes billboards throughout the state, newspaper ads, radio spots and interviews,
as well as a strong pro-HJR2 presence in the ITA official newspaper Longspring Gazette. But we need to blanket the
state with pro-HJR2 information, and we need your help.

What can you do? First, you can duplicate this letter and pass it on to another sportsman, or a business owner,
especially owners of businesses who earn a living serving sportsmen. Then, find high-traffic billboards and forward
information on the location and advertising company managing the sign to the ITA. You can also alert the ITA to
adverse media you see, such as anti-hunting news reports, or anti-trapping stories in your local newspaper.
Furthermore, nothing will be more effective than your word-of-mouth campaign as you spread the word far and
wide to vote YES on HJR2 on November 6th.

Want to become more deeply involved? The ITA can accept donations in any amount to further this campaign,
leaving no stone unturned. You can make donations at the ITA web site, or contact an ITA officer. Contact
information is posted online at www.idahotrappersassociation.com. You can also purchase advertising space in the
upcoming edition of the Longspring Gazette which will be shipped out to members and supporting businesses across
Idaho one week prior to the election (deadline is October 15th!).

The ITA would love to work with any organization that wants to make sure HJR2 passes this November. Maybe
your organization has launched a similar campaign? The ITA would love to know about it so we can pass the word
along about the work you are doing, and so we can work together to efficiently blanket Idaho with pro-HJR2 media.

Please contact an ITA officer (contact information at the web address listed below) for more information on how to
become a part of making HJR2 pass on November 6th.

Sincerely,

Idaho Trappers Association, Incorporated
