I am thinking about buying a set of the rhinos, was wondering if anyone else has one and what you think about them. Is it worth the extra money vs a cheaper GPS model? Any opinions would be helpful.
We have the Rhino 120s and have been very pleased with them. We used them on our elk hunt last year. It's nice to be able to see where everyone is. I would go with the 120 or 110. I think the 130 is a little over kill. If you don't want to buy the additional map programs, go with 110 for sure.
I've got the Rhino 120 as well and use it with the USGS mapping software. I really like it. I like being able to easliy upload and download my way-points on to the PC and use them for future refrences. I find the radio to be very clear as well. Good purchase IMO.
I use a 110 and love it. It is great to hunt with other people using them so when you talk you can see where they are. I would definitely buy again. The map on the 110 is very generic so if you want better maps get the 120.
