General turkey hunt

I have a nine year old son who passed his hunter safety this year. He was hoping to get a early youth tag. He didnt draw. So he wants to go on the later hunt but i dont know where the birds hang out around utah county or heber area that late. Any help will make him very happy. Thanks

Up in the Morgan and Ogden valley's I found you follow the snow line. As the weather warms up and the snow melts, they will follow the snow level. Right in the levels where it is thawing mixed with snow, mud and muck. Hit the semi dried areas where it is just starting to dry up is where I have found them hang'n.
