Good Morning!
Will be heading out to unit 36 soon ... now I've hunted this unit several years now... however mostly for elk and turkey. Never for Deer...(which by the way are usually always in town) I was hoping to see if anyone else has drawn this unit in the past (deer only) and what was it like (was there a harvest?)I'm not trying to look for any honey holes or anything, but just a general direction were I can find some decent bucks (not no trophy)... Keep in mind I have put boots on the ground and scouted the area... but want some advise.... For elk I tend to usually lean more towards nogal area... For this specific deer hunt I've focused more towards the "downs" area heading towards Glencoe... (if you know the area you know which forest roads are near the location i'm referring to. My quesiton, Would it be better to focus towards this general area?? any advise would greatly appreciated (please feel free to PM) Thanks! Happy Hunting!
