GOLD RING HD VS. ED50

I am debating buying the Leopold Gold Ring HD vs. the Nikon ED50. I am looking for input on the two products. I am going to be using which ever scope I buy for future Mule Deer, Elk, Moose, Sheep and Antelope hunts. Most of my hunting is composed of day trips.

I owned the Lewy and took it back for the Nikon. I still have the Nikon, but prefer my 65 mm Swaro. IMO the Lewy will give you a bit better FOV, but I do feel the Nikon is adctually a bit more clear.

Lewy Pros: Better eye relief, FOV, Made in USA
Lewy Cons: Bigger, folded optical view.

Nikon Pros: Smaller, less bulky, lighter, better optical clarity
Nikon Cons: Made in China (not Japan), Lesser FOV; Less ER.
