Gollaher Mtn

Just wondering if anyone has any experience with Gollaher mtn east of jackpot. any Elk/Deer info would be nice. we went up there last saturday when the rain and cloud cover socked us in. Looks like really good country. Any info is appreciated thanks.

My buddy had an archery Bull tag there. He hunted Gollaher for a few days and saw very little. He ended up moving eastward and hunted around the Goose creek area and started seeing deer and elk right away. He shot a monster 5x5 bull the third day he was there. He was seeing around 40 to 50 elk per day in this area and a couple dozen deer everyday. He seen some really big bulls in this area and a few decent bucks. I would say it's worth looking into. He did end up with two flat tires and luckily had two spares. It's a long ways from nowhere and a lot of dirt roads, but the Deer and Elk are there.
