Congrats, that's awesome! Got pretty lucky that the other 3rd place buck was busted up a bit.

well, mine was bigger too, but velvet, so I got the 2% deduction, which I dont feel is accurate at all, but oh well. Mine actually grossed 226 2/8 and netted 221 2/8, and if I would have stripped it, it would have been still over 220, the velvet does not add any length to my deer I may have lost up to an inch on mass perhaps, but that is all.

I LOVE it when a score given on these pages is backed up with a buck that looks like it scores WAY more than the numbers as much as I hate it when the opposite happens. Just shows how you cannot assign a number to that certain something the greatest animals have, I call it curb appeal. Your buck has it in spades!

Congrats on the buckle and a buck of a life time!..that thing is a hog!..like stated above, nice to see a deer that looks like what he scored.As perfect as his velvet,i wouldn't of stripped him either.Any mount pics?..

Thanks for all the comments guys. Gazelle, Its my brother in the pics with me. We are about 10 years apart so quite a gap yes. The bow is a Z-7 and I'll have to take pics of the mount as I have not yet.
