Monstermuley Members!
I have begun to research vehicle GPS systems and thought I would turn to you because I know that several of you have probably already been down this road and can give me some good educated advice.
I am looking for a portable GPS that I can put on my dash that has the ability to not only show the regular street/highway information but also help me when I am off the main roads/highways (i.e. forestry/mountain roads/topo maps etc.). Do all of the GPS units offer these features? Are there makes and models that are best and also ones that should be avoided? Is there a software package that is better than the rest? A good screen size is important also since things seem to be getting smaller and harder to see as the years go by.
Thanks for your help!
