Gun Range near Cedar Fort

Does anyone have info about a shooting range approx. 5 miles south of Fairfield. Public or Private?

I live out by there and i have not heard a thing about a gun range, but you can damn sure bet i'm going to do a little investigating!!

I usually go out behind lake mountain, east of cedar fort.

The range is owned by the FARM. Its south of Cedar Fort about 12 miles.. as the main road curves to the west, there is a dirt road that takes off to the south and its about 5 miles down. Its a range alot of Police Departments use.

Yeah it is owned by FARM and it is one heck of a range. They put alot of time, thought and energy into it and it shows. They got it all from pistol to long range Sniper lanes. Last I heard is they are taking the driving range (Emergency Vehicle Operations) from Camp Williams and putting it out there a little North of the land fill.

So is this range open to the public?

How many yards can a guy shoot??

Im not really sure on either. I have driven past it a few times... We have talked about using the range but we never have..
