I am thinking about buying a HS Precision stock for my Rem. 700. I thought I would check with you guys first to see what you think of them. Thanks Don

I got a HS a few years back. Nice stock. It's solid with no noticeable twist, a tad heavy IMO, well constructed with the bedding block, and fit barrel and action like a glove with a snug fit. Over all I am pleased with the purchase.

What model hs? Do you like a palm swell? I had an hs but sent it back and bought a McMillan. I prefer BC over HS for a factory Rem 700.

LAST EDITED ON Jan-29-16 AT 01:23PM (MST)[p]Checkout stockys stocks. They have lots of options on stocks especially for Rem 700. The stockys long range hunter stock for $199 is an amazing deal. I'm debating picking up one and just keeping it for future build.

I saw that too about 2-3 weeks ago and was thinking the same thing.

I bought a couple B&C Medalist Alaskan II stocks from Redhawk Rifles in Colorado. A little lighter and cheaper than HS Precision. I am happy with them. Redhawk rifles had the best price I could find.

I've never used one but will be trying one out in the next year or so.

Great choice Nodoe. You should be really happy with the HS precision stock.
