Gunlock area???

Thinking about cruising over to Gunlock this weekend and hunting for one day I am only able to get away for one day and this area is close to me. Has Anyone hunted this?? if so how were the deer? Is it worth trying? can anyone point me in the right direction?

That's a 5 day hunt. It closed on Wednesday.

North of gunlock and out to the west of it has some good chances at seeing some deer. The hunt ends on sunday not yesterday. Southern region is back to a nine day hunt.

I thought it was a 9 day hunt, I'll double check my tag adn regulations.
