I’m my mind the best approach is to educate the those who are in the middle ground on this issue. There are opinions on the far ends of this issue. Rather than fight back against the wolf lovers, it would be a lot easier to sway the majority of the population that are in the middle ground to the reality of what predators are really like and that like anything else in this day and age they need to be managed/controlled.
If we were to explain or show pics/videos of coyotes, wolves bears, etc killing newborn defenseless fawns/calves (cute little Bambi’s) and the often slow painful death these predators are often inflicting on their prey, then the vast majority of the population would sway to “our” side and support our views.
As we all know, many of these things come down to majority opinion and the more voices we can get our side the better off we are. If we just continue to fight the wolf lovers directly we will have a looong battle.
I have personally swayed many peoples opinions when I’ve explained to them the reality of what these predators do. Most of them had no idea.
What a load of crap.
I have a lot more respect for an animal that has to kill its prey to survive. Its a tough life for a wolf out there, that's why they only live 3-4 years on average.
I find it humorous that people believe that a wolf is purposely "inflicting a slow death" on their prey. They're killing for survival and the only thing they do is to kill purposely to eat. They do it with tooth and claw.
Compare that with some bubba sitting his lard butt in a treestand over a food plot, whacking a whitetail in the ass/guts and leaving it all night to die. Then acting like a 5 year old that found an easter egg the next morning when they find the deer dead and bloated.
Pretty good chance ol' Bubba is going to give that quality piece of venison to "charity" while he whacks down a greasy burger and fries at the local diner. He doesn't and didn't kill to simply survive and probably didn't kill that deer any more humanely than a wolf would have. He sure didn't do it with his teeth and claws, but the most advanced mechanical dowel flinging device on the market.
Anyone that would believe the garbage in your post, they're pretty easily swayed and probably have an IQ of a golf ball.
Wolves do what they do to survive. They don't do it for sport, they don't do it to inflict pain, and all those other human emotions you try to brainwash folks with.
That said, there's nothing wrong with hunting and killing wolves. Nothing wrong with posting reasonable pictures of a successful wolf hunt either.
But what you posted is every bit as intellectually dishonest as the crap posted by PETA...neither are anything to do with reality. Neither is the correct way to defend your position, its tugging at human emotions and a flat lie.
