Hdy FPB 350

Yes they are IF you remove the plastic tip or cut it off flush with the front of the metal. I have tried both and get slightly better accuracy cutting them off.

Thanks - Txhunter

Someone was telling me that they couldn't be over an inch long but when I measure my power belts they are over an inch long also. So I've been confused why Power B's would be legal and not Hdy FPB's.

If the plastic comes off the bullet in flight, it is not measured for the length of bullet rule. So, the plastic on the powerbelt is not a problem since it falls off. Or at least it is supposed to fall off!

I have been very pleased with the FPB's and will be using them again for an elk hunt in Colorado this fall. They will hold together better than powerbelts

I'd heard somewhere (perhaps on this forum) that the DOW had recently "ruled" that the FPB's were legal and didn't need to have the tip cut off. Anyone else heard this? Either way, you can make meet the l/d requirement as TX suggested by removing or cutting the plastic tip.
