Here's a picture of a buck I'd like some score estimates on. He's not big compared to a lot of the bucks we see on here, but I'm trying to broaden my scoring skills. So what do you think?
I don't think he's 30 inches and I think he's in the 160 something range..maybe 170 gross..Hard to tell for sure from that picture.. Nice photo and a nice buck. Thanks for posting.
Unless he's got 30 inch ears I don't think he's pushin 30.
Strong left side, weak right side. Hard to tell how big the left G4 is. I'll throw out a wild guess and say he's a mid 160's buck. A nice looking buck that has some potential. Thanks for sharing the pic.
I agree. Probably 26-27" at most wide. Not real heavy (it looks like anyway) Good forks on the left. I would say 160-165. Good lookin buck. I would like to run into him come October.
This deer is not 27" wide I have never seen a mule deer with 27" ears..... the rack according to the picture is as wide as the ears..there is not much mass either just a 3 to 4 year old deer maybe 155. 24" to 25 " wide rack at the most.
I killed a buck like that one. No more than 165 I'd say. If he's alive this year, and with all the moisture and hopfully good genitics, he could be a real whopper. Bucks have been known to put on 40 inches from one year to the next. That buck would die on a general season here in Utah. Respectable Buck!
I'd agree hes in the mid 160s. Looking at his left antler, I'd guess the following: g1-2", g2-15", g3-8", g4-10", mb-21", h1-4.5", h2-4.25", h3-4", h4-4" for 72.75". Double that and add 21" for spread and you have 166.5"

Mid 20's about 165 This is last years picture right, maybe this year with all the good weather and rain he will go upper 170's or maybe break into the low 180's. He will be a shooter this fall.
