Fellas, My 76 year old g-pa drew this tag after years of applying. He felt his time may be running out so he cashed in his chips on this hunt. He is the type of guy that would help anybody in need. Like many of our grandfathers and fathers he spent his entire life teaching my brothers and I how to hunt and enjoy the great outdoors. We have already planned a trip down there to begin learning the country that the sheep call home. I understand its not going to be easy, but we are not afraid to get after it. I'm asking for some direction, tips and basically where to start to speed up things. I've heard accessing from Powell and from the highway. Any info would be awesome and I would be willing to give some advice on the colorado area in trade. I live in Grand Junction and we harvest good deer and elk every few years. My family is from utah and my grandfather is still there. Like I mentioned tips, pointers, access, and any pictures would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.
