Here's a couple of takes on the great uniters speech last night. What we saw last night was a first in US history where a sitting US President took the time to tell half the nation we were enemies of the state because of our constitutional rights and beliefs. He stood up there and lectured many of us who helped protect and build this nation we were enemies of the state.

Let that sink in a bit......the builders of this great nation were now considered enemies for exercising the same freedoms and rights the founders intended in the constitution. He stood there and accused and shamed us for having an opinion that differed from his and his parties.

Wasn't this nation founded on freedom of thought?

We made an electoral choice as afforded our right's and now we're enemies. He stood up there with all the bluster and fire of a third world fascist dictator, who was going to shame us into compliance using the power of his office as his bully pulpit if necessary.
