High Lonesome Gate

The Wife and I took a drive the other day and passed through ”The Gate” at High Lonesome. There are a bunch of signs that indicate that it is forbidden but the gate is open. One side was swinging and not fastened adding to the illusion tht you shouldn’t drive through. We didn’t drive more than a few miles because the road was getting wet. We’ll have to go back and try it again in a few weeks. The area we saw was pretty toasted by the fire.
