My wife made it happen this past weekend! After hunting hard for the first couple weeks, we found this billy in one of the worst canyons on the mountain. With a nasty storm expected the next day, we decided to go after this goat and worry about how we'd get him out once we got him on the ground. We got set up for the shot and clouds kept rolling in and we'd lose site of him. The clouds finally broke long enough for a shot and she made an amazing shot on the goat facing away. Dropped him where he stood. After the celebration, we realized we had a lot of work ahead of us. 7 hours later we had him caped, quartered and packed out. It was the hardest hunt/pack out of my life. Well worth it with the memories I shared with my wife and stories I'll be able to tell years down the road. Thanks to everyone on here who helped me with information they had about the hunt!
