(CNSNews.com) - The federal government spent $1,822,712,000,000 in the first five months of fiscal 2019, the most it has spent in the first five months of any fiscal year since 2009, which was the fiscal year that outgoing President George W. Bush signed a $700-billion law to bailout the banking industry and incoming President Barack Obama signed a $787-billion law to stimulate an economy then in recession.

Well we have established that we can't put any blame on Trump for out of control spending and borrowing so it is just going to continue to be out of control.

I wonder what the Trump supporters thought of Obama spending at this level? I bet they claimed it would destroy the economy, be bad in the long term for the next generations and was against their conservative core values. Now it is something to ignore completely and just say that it was out of control before Trump was elected so buck can't stop with him.

This country is going down the crapper and our values are just about as compromised as our solvency. Trump was just about our last hope for redemption and given that he can't get things done to alleviate our issues it's probably going to be up to the common man or opt for the other alternative and go willingly to the end of the greatest country on earth.

One things for sure our politicians aren't doing what's necessary and seem to be under the illusion that they're safe no matter what befalls the commoners. Corruption abounds and we the people are as worthless as the votes they allow us to cast. We have more of them illegals coming into this country monthly than we deployed on Normandy during WWII in the biggest battle in military history. So using some strategic deployment of illegal voters to win elections in key areas is a given. Think not why are they trying to do away with the electoral college and give them the vote?

When they get our guns they'll run the table since at that point we will of lost our means to resist, and your concern about the deficit won't matter one damn bit. So while most of us agree with you 100% about the deficit making more Americans more economically viable may actually be in our interest to achieve our freedom and will to resist.

I didn't bet that who I voted for was going to win. I didn't believe either choice was worthy of my vote. That is the difference. If your only choice is to vote for a candidate put forth by one of the two major parties you don't have much freedom to start with.

Trump isn't taking away my freedom, by proposing record spending in his budget and not producing the tax revenue he claimed, he is helping steal the future Americans freedoms. It is true he didn't start, congress is to blame but since we only have one decider at a time the blame is placed where the buck stops.

Job creation through less regulation and lower taxes, in addition to trying to stop illegal immigration that creates more red ink, are to be commended, not disgraced. Let's not blame the guy that's in there actually trying to make a difference for the majority of working folks in this country. He's trying to make more people self sufficient not dependent like Obama did. Folks are making more money and incomes on many jobs are trending up rather than down so what's not to like. There's never been a deficit fixed with record unemployment numbers so while you disagree he's making a difference in many households. Lest not we forget he inherited the problem his predecessors created.

If you don't like what he's doing you better earn more to take care of you and your's because if you think the dems getting their hands on the trillions of health care dollars, opening our borders, raising taxes, and regulating business to the point of extinction is going to fix things you're dumber than any of us could ever imagine.

I have been told a million times that we don't have a revenue problem we have a spending problem yet you claim the guy who just sent the largest spending budget to Congress can't be held accountable. JPMorgan Chase CEO Jamie Dimon argued that America?s $22 trillion national debt is ?not a critical issue today.?
Dimon was asked if he thinks the growing deficit and national debt are a threat to economic growth in the U.S.

?I would say the most important thing for the federal government to do is infrastructure, work skills initiatives, innovation and reducing stifling mind-numbing bureaucracy for small business because maximizing growth is the most important thing you can do for future deficits,? Dimon said in response to a question from PJM on a recent conference call with the Business Roundtable where the group announced the results of its CEO Economic Outlook Survey.

?Having said that, and I don't believe in this MMT theory [Modern Monetary Theory] -- net debt is 80 percent of GDP, OK? In Japan, it's 260 percent so it is not a critical issue today. It's not the thing that's going to cause a complete disaster,? he added.

Dimon, chairman of the Business Roundtable, said the national debt is going to continue growing over time and it will have to be addressed eventually.

?It's going to grow from 80 to 90 to 100 to 130 [percent of GDP] over the next 30 years, mostly driven by entitlement programs, so any rational group of people would say, ?it's an issue, lets deal with it before it becomes an issue? because it will deal with itself at one point,? Dimon said. ?I'm in favor of dealing with it but I'm not in favor of not doing other things first because we'll just make it harder and slow down growth and do things that are not competitive.?
