hogs near Ruidoso

Going to go visit a relative, next weekend. Last year we went out searching for pigs, trying to get some fresh Easter pork. Didn't connect but found some rooted up areas and had a great time.

Problem is, that area is now burned to the ground! I was thinking about checking out the areas just north of the Capitans like the FS map shows but have never been there. Anyone have some good information for me?
