How Old Bad Ideas Become Wonderful

Here's an interesting take that reflects our past and shows how many policy's that were once in vogue wound up in the dumpster, as times and thoughts progressed. What's really enlightening about this is how our evolvement as a country and society purged itself of many of the faults being tried today in a repackaged foremat.

Pay attention to how many of these concepts failed because fundamentally they were severely flawed, morally inept, or just unfair but sold as the newest best idea to save us from ourselves. It's equally interesting how many of these concepts were used in other countries that led them away from the freedoms and right's we've enjoyed in this country for decades.

Take the time to read this long article and see how many of the concepts were adopted by failed ideology's. It's VDH at his finest using his vast historical background to show us where we went wrong with many of the ideas we had building the greatest nation on earth. Some won't find him entertaining but given his attention to detail and fact, it's an eye opener. It shows us where we're headed, and how not reflecting on history and our previous mistakes, is a bad move and in the end may be more damaging.

lets take this back up to the top that way many can read and follow about how what's going on has been tried before and that way they'll know what the dems are proposing aren't good ideas just recirculated trash and bias to damage the nation.

Yawn…..VDH discovers the democrat playbook.

He could have spent a little more time on his “loyalty oaths”. Maybe interview Liz Cheney for her thoughts?

Nothing more than red meat for the hounds.

yes but it's documented and layed out there in a easy to read format that clearly shows on how many fronts we're
being manipulated on. Most people can't fathom what's going on and since the media's not telling them it's impossible to figure out. They just wind up being indoctrinated and believing the tripe.

Where do we wind up then?

What's the matter Bluehair it would appear you're feeling a little remorse about your hatred of Trump blinding you to the reality of what's going on. You don't like to be reminded of how the left's sordid little plan is moving forward on so many levels........

I think that would depend on if you're an originalist or a living document sort of guy IMO. The way the court stands today the originalists most likely would prevail. But It is interesting in that which document wields the most power. The states do have the rights to enact law that doesn't interfere with federal election law. During the last election states enacted steps to allow votes that were opposed to state law and IMO circumvented federal election laws in the process.......Where's the safeguards in that?

One can only imagine just how that will shake out but the fact the right is enacting laws to make sure states election laws and voter roles must be compliant is interesting, yet highly unpopular with the left.

The lefts view is they're restricting voters goes hand in hand with their opposition to voter ID, and the allowance of ballot harvesting, unmonitored ballot boxes, voter opportunity for non-citizens etc. It's all votes count, type of mindset with very little regulation elective scenario and how does that regulate anything.

Time will tell but no good comes from things with an any vote counts mentality just like you find in most socialist controlled countries.

They passed the choice on abortions onto the individual states so in some aspects this makes this more interesting. Which one prevails the feds or the state?;)

Biden Admin. using the Fed. Govt. to influence another election? They used the FBI in the last one, what the hell let's try this concept.
