Hunter Densities

Hey guys, I have an September archery bull tag in unit 10. I have several areas of intrest but want to stay away from the crowd. I realize there are only 225 tags total but didn't know if there would be areas of heavy traffic. thanks for any help!

Multiply that number by 2 or 3 and you'll have an accurate number of people who will be running around out there. Plus the people who will be scouting for the early rifle bull hunt. Unfortuneately, it is getting harder and harder to get away from people in 10. Of course there are some places to go, but not many.

There's actually a nice chunk of prime country thats not roadless, but cant be traveled by you and I. Meaning it has roads, but the public can not drive thru. If you kill a bull in there, it's a bit of work to pack it back to the pickup. Trust me.

My hunting partner drew the archery bull tag as well this year. We've been out every weekend for the past month. It looks REALLY good this year. Good luck to ya! We set our trialers out there last weekend. Hell, I'm more excited than my buddy is. At least I get to be the caller, ranger and videographer, if it all works out.
