I just spoke with Jim Rich, one of the Chief Instructors for the Arizona Hunter Education team here in Mohave County and he would like me to spread the news about a class he is doing.
Starting on Monday, January 26 and going through Saturday, January 31st, Jim and the River team will be doing a class that starts at 5:30 p.m. and goes till 9 p.m.
The field day will be on Saturday at the new Tri-State shooting range.
Anyone who wants to take this class must attend every class, and go through the field day in order to graduate.
You must call Jim at 928-444-3397 in order to register. Cost is $8.
When you register, Jim will give you the exact location on where the classes will be held. I believe they are going to be held at his church in Bullhead City.
Maximum number of students in this class is 25, and they will be registered first come, first served.
We are doing a two weekend class starting on March 14, at the 7 Mile Hill Range near Kingman, and will take 40 students. He has already signed up 28 for that class.
For all you folks that live on the river, and in Needles CA, or Laughlin NV, here is your opportunity to get your class that will get you that extra bonus point for the upcoming sheep and deer draws.
