While stalking a fake black bear we found this as we came down the hill, Lovely country just has them big humped brown ones........ but a pleasant suprise and a new spot no one dares shed hunt.....
Looks like the place was under snow quite a while . . . Did you find those sheds next to the skull? The chew marks remind me of how elk will occasionally eat old chalking antlers.
Yep the small bull shed them, was killed or died via winterkill or wolves. About 50 yds from skull. I am still suprised we found elk anything...... place get's ton of snow.
