Haven't seen a good one in about a decade. I buy the cheap ones now, drill a 3/8" hole in the back, and plug it with a foam earplug. Not as good as the old ones, but empties in about half the time!

Elkass you can't afford gas now so you are resorting to the old siphon hose and fill truck later.Times must be rough in the basin these days.

Bess quit your bellyaching. Haul your butt down to a local military surplus store and see if they have some of the good old G.I. metal gas cans with the big pouring spout. They were made pre-Obama. Crap! they were made pre you and that is getting old.

Hey homer!

I remember seeing your Fuel Cells a few years ago!

Are the Vents worth a Damn on them?

Will they hold without Leaking all over?

One more question homer?

Do the VP Cans come with a Hose You pull out?

Or are they an Extra?

I should be able to make them?

Does the Cap have a 1/2" or 3/4" Thread I Can thread in to?

Homer, are those 5 gallon containers?

Guns are like parachutes. If you need one and don't have one you probably will never need one again.

NOTE: The VP Motorsport Container is intended only for use as a rapid refueling device for racing vehicles used in professional off road and closed course competition racing events. It is NOT a portable fuel container as described by ASTM, EPA, ARB or other state or federal agencies. Intended for racing fuel only; not to be used for street legal fuels.

Well Guys!

I also took a look at the 'JEGS' Jugs!

I liked them better than the VP because of the 2 Handles!

But the VP Containers looked like they had the better of the 2 Evil Vents!

So 8 VP Containers(NOT GAS CANS!:D)on the way!

You know what's REAL F'N SAD about America today?

Even if you're willing to Spend more money for a better Quality item it's just not out there to Buy/available!

Hey, check out the new SureCan gas cans, they are the solution to all of your problems you have mentioned! They are built in the USA and are the most durable out there! The spout rotates down and you actually control the flow with a thumb trigger at the top. It also self ventilates so there is no glugging in the spout. Here is their website link. https://www.surecanusa.com/ check out their videos on Youtube they park a 2015 Ford Powerstroke on top of them, I think you will like these.

Thanks!

Maybe not a Bad Can to have around the House!

I'd be out 500.00+ for 8 of them!

I Thought 229.00 for 8 of the ones I Bought was bad enough!:D

LAST EDITED ON Aug-29-15 AT 07:19PM (MST)[p]jeezus Bess, Buy a water can and spray paint "GAS" on the side. Just bought one at Walmart and it's Grey so as not to confuse those used to colored cans.

And the yellow ones for diesel cost double.. Few years ago I kinda mumbled that the price was a joke so I would just get a red one. The clerk would not sell it to me knowing I was going to put diesel in a red one.

Elkass...I got a used Kerosine Red 5 gallon can that I use to put my used oil into for recycling. You can flush it out and clean it up would work great for GAS or Diesel.

I use the VP cans. The only time I had someone say anything was at the boat dock at lake Powell . Any plumber can make the the ball valve modification. My son did to his. I just pour it in and let it rip! I believe my cans hold 6 gallons.

Blitz was the company that maid the good ones. They went out of business because they couldn't afford the insurance premiums anymore. They are still easily found on ebay. I've bought two this year that were barely used and in great shape.

Ya!

There's a Guy on E-bay selling 2 new Blitz 5 Gallon Gas Cans for 60.00 each!

Piss on that!

Price Gougin Bastards!

Might as well Buy you a Tank for the Back of your Truck!
