Feinstein focusing on global warming
By Paul Pringle, Times Staff Writer
October 26, 2006

U.S. Sen. Dianne Feinstein delivered a lengthy, impassioned speech Wednesday about the need for this country, other nations and every individual to step up the fight against global warming.

Then she drove off in a gas-guzzling Lincoln Town Car.

BTW: My motorcycle gets better mileage than her "hybrid" Lexus...and at $55 K there's not many that can afford it...so don't even try to imply that she "focusing on global warming"...she's focusing on getting re-elected.

I seriously doubt she drives herself around much...it's beneath her station...

Yes, SHE is a hypocrite. But it's a stretch to say it's the liberals, it's one liberal. So, if your logic is correct, the speaker of the house represents the entire conservative party right?

This is a summary from an AP story from April 27, 2007.

House Speaker Dennis Hastert of Ill., center, gets out of a Hydrogen Alternative Fueled automobile, left, as he prepares to board his SUV, which uses gasoline, after holding a new conference at a local gas station in Washington, Thursday, April 27, 2006 to discuss the recent rise in gas prices. Hastert and other members of Congress drove off in the Hydrogen-Fueled cars only to switch to their official cars to drive back the few block back to the U.S. Capitol.

Check this out, who's the real flip-floppers now Edelbrock?

?The insurgents are in their final throws?
?Mission accomplished?
?Stay the course.?

Rummy just said today, for the first time, "this cant be won militarily.?

Who are the flip-floppers now Edlbrock?

I cant believe this administration, do they really think we are so stupid that we don't understand that wars are difficult and they take time? Why do they insist on telling us it's hard, whine, whine, cry, cry (listen to rummy, he's about ready to start crying)? NO CHIT! IT'S hard, but that does not make it right or okay. Lots of things are hard that does not make them right.

Wow, Rummy's gota go!

TF,

Was Hasert giving a speech on Global Warming then driving away in a gas guzzler ? Nope. He was talking about gas prices. At least he doesn't pretend to care about Global Warming then give all the people he just spoke with the finger by using a gas guzzler.

I'm glad we agree that she's a hypocrite.

"Mission Accomplished" ??? I asked about that on another of your threads and you did not reply. Not once did the President say "Mission Accomplished", but you and the others will contiue to imply that he did. The "Mission Accomplished" was implied by the media when there was a banner reading "Mission Accomplished" on the carrier the President was speaking from. The "Mission Accomplished" was for the crew of the carrier at the end of their cruise.

"Stay the course" ??? More lies... Point me to a quote where the President said "I never said "stay the course"". Until then you are the liar.

Jeeze TF, the Iraq situation has turned into an internal political/religious struggle. As far as winning militarily, there is no longer a defined "military" enemy for us to castrate, we did that in 2003. After that, every zealot in the area engaged jihad mode...they are fighting each other. The Sunni, the Shi'ite the Kurd... This has become a civil war. We stay there to help stabilise the region. We are working with the infant government until they are able to operate autonomously.

As far as the SOD insisting on telling you it's hard... That's because he has to. It's the same thing every week. "We're losing"... "We need to pull out"... On and on...

I know more lies. You read it however you like. It is abvious that most americans are tired of the bs and like me, will NOT vote for a repbublican this time around. I'm not giving up on the party, but until Bush is out, and the hyocrits that support family values kick the scum out of DC I'm not voting for another republican. At the end of the day, both parties are silly, and throwing up a bunch of BS political smoke screens.

The middle class is tired of both dems and republicans not delivering!

Both partys suck.

On that I agree.

Here, here! For once in my life I would really like to vote for some one that could acomplish something while in office. This BS of voting for the lesser of two evils is pathetic. We all knew that Bush would screw us sooner or later but I'm pretty sure that Kerry would have screwed us upfront the last time around.
