it was killed in deep sand country. Sage brush and Shinnery makes it look like NM anyways.
I was lucky enough to tag this guy yesterday evening. Our muzzleloader season kicks off today and the area I was hunting(public ground) gets hunted pretty hard during muzzy and rifle seasons.
It helps tide me over for a January archery hunt.
