I messed up. Can I fix it?

Someone else handled the apps this year and although I did draw my deer tag (62 3rd) I forgot to apply for my elk point. Yes I know, totally my fault and accept full responsibility. Any chance that can still buy a point. I know it works that way for Wyoming but what about CO. I'll give them a call Monday morning but just looking for some good news so I don't suffer all weekend.
 
Feel your pain! But unfortunately, as everyone else has said, you are out of luck and won't get your point this year.

And yes, I am speaking from experience.. Allowed my wife to send the checks and app's in several years ago - she missed the deadline and it almost costed us our marriage.... It was the closest we have come to separating in over 20 years.
 
I was afraid of that. I'm sitting on 14pp and looking at an archery hunt. Uhgg. Wish I could blame someone besides myself.
