For all that participated in the thread I had on here before the draw application closed titled "My email to Oregon" I got about 100 replies, (many from the main forum) and as promised, I printed them off and sent them in to Oregon's commission with a goodbye letter. Doubt I'll ever hear from them, but if I do, I'll let you know.

My complaint (and most other's) was not the price increase, but how bad the value was for the increase (2.5% NR cap for self-guided hunters.)

Hopefully we helped the odds for those of you who stayed in.

These folks think that no matter what... they (the hunters) will come. It may take a couple of years... but it will fade.

i dont know if it will do a ton of good, but good on you! if at the very least it makes all the guys who bailed feel better. but i sure hope ODF&W realizes there driving a semi-truck with no breaks. they might make this turn and even the next turn, heck and they might even blow through the first stop sign and miss all traffic. but in the end it's going to be a huge wreck.
