Idaho Sunset

Last Thursday, August 19, just before sunset I was driving down the interstate south of Idaho Falls and saw the most awesome sunset ever. Did anyone else notice the stunning event? As the sun dropped it turned to a brilliant red and orange. I live in the desert southwest and have seen plenty of blue-ribbon sunsets, but the Idaho fire in the sky, was a favorite. I can't recall anything as impressive in my forty plus years. I regret not having a camera with me.
Is that the normal for Idaho? Maybe I'm living in the wrong place!

I've seen a dozen such sunsets on 1-15 between IF and Poky through the years. They are incredible! Haven't seen anything like them anywhere else in my whole life.
