hunted last year on the 4th season and really didnt see that many elk looking for some info to find the elk herd. from out of state and not a lot of time to scout hunting there again this year same season
I have hunted 3rd season Deer 3 times and saw a total of 1 cow Elk in unit 22. I spoke to a Warden last year and he did say the 2nd season Elk was pretty good last year, so maybe it is not bad hunting early, but in the places we were hunting there are not many at all come late Oct.-early Nov.
