What do you guys think? Reporting that the negotiations are over and the Trump gave in is not the whole story right? In three weeks we will find out. So for Fox to act like trump gave in and gave up is not the whole story is it? So Trump is right right?

If he goes through with the NE declaration then any future whining from the Trump wing about the imperil president and government over reach is just more hot air.
Why can't the greatest deal maker in the history of deal makers not get a deal on the wall? Even with his own side? Seems like something doesn't add up when one take an objective look at facts when it comes most things involving Trump.
1. Mexico isn't going to pay in any way shape or form otherwise he would have been on Twitter blasting away about it. So for those who know that words matter, he screwed himself there.
2. There is zero interest with the Republicans in the Senate to through another shutdown and the resulting fall out that has been laid mostly at their feet because the president said he would be "proud" to do a shutdown. Again ready, fire, aim like all things with this president.
3. Any NE declaration is headed to the courts to sort out. Do you believe the USSC is a sure thing for Trump? If past is prologue it doesn't look good.
Why not strike a deal with the bipartisan committee put together to get a deal done? Because his base would lose their minds given what he would have to give up.
It will be interesting to watch to see how badly his base wants him to make a deal. I suspect like most things what you hear isn't close to what is true.
Also be prepared for a future liberal president to use his/her power to declare a NE, say for gun violence after a tragedy of a school shooting. Not that Trump supporters ever care about what happens tomorrow.

Who did I call a name? From now on since apparently the Trump supporters get their feelers hurt I am just going to leave it at that: Trump supporters, well maybe Trump lovers when you guys support his stupid behavior and look past all the things you had a heart attack about with Obama. Ie the debt, the imperil president, government over reach, governing via executive order. That kind of stuff.

WASHINGTON - Beyond the protests, the politics and the posturing, the former head of the U.S. Border Patrol says one point has been overshadowed.

Mark Morgan served as Border Patrol Chief under President Obama and was actually removed by the Trump Administration, but after nearly two years of staying silent, is speaking out.
"My position is not coming from political ideology. It's coming from 30 years of governmental service," Morgan said.
That service includes years trying to tackle the problem of drug cartels who he says are constantly battling each other for control and ways to illegally cross the border.
"They gain control of the drug smuggling routes, the trafficking routes and the illegal smuggling routes in between the ports of entry which is where we need the wall," Morgan said in an interview this week.
He points to Yuma County, Arizona where in 2005 nearly 140,000 illegal immigrants were apprehended trying to cross but after building 23 miles of wall and adding 600 new agents that number fell drastically and remains under 15,000 today.
On Capitol Hill, many democrats have been pushing for other border security measures, like agents and new technology - most still refusing to allocate any taxpayer money for a wall.
?We want to do more to work on making sure that cargo shipments are secure,? said Rep. Jamie Raskin, D, Maryland.
Sen. Sherrod Brown, D, Ohio, said the focus should also be on ?technology and helicopters and ICE agents.?

You stupid moron, you just proved my point on the wall that came from a ex border patrol chief that does not owe any allegiance to Trump. The wall is just a important part of the whole system to curb illegal entry.
I did not see your mouth spouting off about the wall when your favorite president allowed portions to be built. Not only are you a left wing socialist, but a hypocrite on top of it.
