Is the rut late on the Ogden unit???

A friend of mine has the late muzzy for the Ogden unit. We have been up every day since the start last Wednesday. We have seen a few decent bucks but there are many groups of does that do not have any bucks chasing them. Nor have the bucks we have seen seemed involved in rut activity. In other parts of the state I'm hearing about bucks rutting but I have not seen any normal rut activity in the scare canyon area as of yet. Anyone else been up in similar areas with similar observations?

Saw a small 4x5 this morning following a doe very intently on the Cache unit. Keep after it as the rut has started but not quite in full swing yet.
