With Jade Helm half completed how has the military imposition of martial law gone over. Who is winning the U.S. Military or the national guard of Texas. I feel sorry for those that believed this oh yeah we have a month left in the training so we could still have a war.

check the polls even today with nothing proven. You guys are full of excuses. Avoid the fact it cost us taxpayers 10.5 billion, good move. The alternative would have been for them to go thru bankruptcy and come our stronger on the other side. You gotta let the addict hit bottom before they help themselves. We've simply acted as the enabler, well be in this situation with them again in the future because of our enabling. And again thanx for your concern for my well being but I'll always be fine without the government tit in my mouth. How's the milk taste by the way?
 
The bailout was more of a keeping the union vote and support instead of just protecting jobs. If forced into bankruptcy they would have to restructure and the union would have to give up some perks and pay in order to make the company solvent.
Our politicians did not want the unions to give up their perks and get a package of more reasonable pay and perks. The unions in return fully support those liberal politicians that handled them the gravy train and the tax payers got screwed again.

What if all the GM employees past and present had come to the government for welfare and healthcare rather than working and paying taxes? what about the subs who couldn't survive on just Ford's business? so then what happenen to Ford?

Dude you could not afford to hire the average auto line worker and stay in business. High school education at best for most of them and they make more in pay and benefits then a lot of profession people with a college education.

Simple fact, go ahead and hire them for your farming operation at the pay they want and we will be seeing you in the homeless food line.

gotta go with DW here. The traditional seasonal farm workers don't bother me, but having illegals take over the construction industry is bad, and that exactly what's happened over the last several decades.

In my opinion the best thing that could happen to the economy would be massive deportation of illegal workers, (note I said illegals)

Home values would rise and everything else would be better, the interest rates might increase, but that's how it should work to control inflation.

American citizens can't compete with illegals, the healthcare costs, taxes and the cost of raising a family see to that.
 
Piper you want the illegals gone because they cut into your ability to find good construction jobs. Yet you support Hillary who will do everything she can do to make them stay and invite even more into our borders. Does that make you a hypocrite?

Illegals have little or no healthcare expenses, most men have their families in Mexico ect, while most women have their babies here and the cost little or nothing to them, and many times the fathers have their own families in another country. Illegals don't worry about their credit score(*they have none). Illegals have many advantages in the labor markets no doubt. So what? I guess that's the prevailing attitude.

I dislike Bush and Rand Paul but the rest are worth listening to, Hillary is pretty well known so I don't see her as a threat to western issues and some of those trump the illegal issue in my book. Many issues are nonrelevant to me and they aren't going to change anyway.
 
Americans won't do the gunt work , period. they're too good for it.

If it comes down to americans doing the grunt work we'll be importing anything that requires hard labor to produce or process. end of story, if you think different it only shows a lack of knowledge on the subject.


Many think that's okay, so I'll ask one simple question. if we don't want to be dependent on foreign oil why do we want to be dependent on foriegn food?

Mexicans are doing the work because they're the only ones who the work at the price you're willing to pay the producer , contractor or processor . if you don't like it then first you find that mythical " other guy " who will, then get your wallet out and be ready to pay dearly.
