Nobody knows how that's going to work for sure. They have 10 days to address and fix the violations before the fees kick in, I believe. And the State can seize the property and sell it if they have to.

A lot of people say that. It would hurt the "legal" grower though. Plus it's still illegal under Federal law. It's a mess.

elkassassin, some leased ground is being used to grow weed. If it gets busted the grower walks away (or heads back to Mexico) and the absentee land owner is stuck. It gets real quiet after a major bust. Lots of people come up missing and nobody really cares.

What Park do you speak of Mr. Eel. The ?smoke? from the Mendocino Complex have you puzzled?? Anybody running for a public office north of Sac, regardless of politics has a chance if their platform is state and national forest management. Interested to see ole ?Reds? point of view when his country has burned too. When Trump ran for pres he landed in Redding and had a one on one with Red. Boz, I was wondering how much SP land got torched in the Carr fire? We ran Red out of town a couple years ago. The Arcata city counsel wants to turn his old mill site into a marijuana industrial complex. That's the future of California. If you can find a logger these days it's almost impossible to find truck drivers to haul it. That's the word on the street.
