I don't hink so. If it is close now just wait until all the bigots get into the privacy of a voting booth. There are still millions of people in this country that will not vote for a black man. They would not admit that publicly but the prejudice is there. After the Bush embarrassment the democratic candidate should be 15 points ahead right now.

I saw this on AOL the other day and I just had to laugh. Knowing full well that 202 would be gleefully posting this ASAP to the ying of his yang. I can just imagine a slow motion cheshire grin forming from ear to ear upon reading this news snippet, fingers shaking in anticipation while logging into to MM.

One thing is certain, the only poll that counts will be on election day. The State of our Union has become so entangled it's like 300 feet of 4 lb. test wrapped around a prop. It will take more than either candidate is possible of doing to straighten out in 4 years, let alone 8.
