Kamas vs. Beaver (Mt. Goat)

never stepped foot on the kamas unit. I hunted the beaver in 13' a lot of access on the unit and a lot of areas you can get away for the crowds also. tag numbers have been cut dramatically due to all of the transplant goats they have been taking off the beaver unit. So not sure what that will do to the odds this year. I know there were 20 something nanny tags in 13' and only 8 or 10 last year.

Never been up on kamas either but spent a lot of time on beaver. The access is really good for the most part. The goats are usually visible from on top and the hiking is generally ok. It's definately worth looking into if you have the points. Hope this helps. Good luck!
