Kids need help

My freind has his two kids hunting in unit 10 junior hunt, and aren't having any luck. We had scouted the area and found some nice bucks but it looks like a lion may have moved in and ran all the deer off. They will be hunting through this weekend. Any information that I could pass on to them would be greatly appreciated.

Have you checked north of the golf course? I have had good success seeing good numbers of deer in their during the dec./jan. archery. Find a high spot and start glassing early in the mornings.

Check out Roads canyon north of Pica Camp. Go into Pine Canyon too.

And look at the base of the Aubrey Cliffs at first light with good glass.
