Kremmling CO

Got drawn in Kremmling for units 18, 28, 37 and 371. Any good areas to scout here?

Any of those units will work. Look in the national forest or BLM, unless you have access to private, then look there

I dont hunt those areas but I live just on the other side of the gore from kremmling. There are two very large winter congregations of deer inbetween wolford reservoir and kremmling on HWY 40 as well as south of Green Mt Reservoir along HWY 9. Not sure where they are during hunting season but you could probably scout your way uphill from those areas. Also, be prepared for hand to hand combat with other people, those units get hit very hard.

Hand to hand combat is an understatement! Last year I watched 2 dudes duke it out over what they must have thought was the last forkhorn on the mountain

Go as deep into the Eagle's nest wilderness as you can and don't shoot unless its 220"+ there is at least one in every basin in there. Knee Knocker pass is a good spot.
