I had a La Sal mountains muzzy tag last year, I would of loved to kill a bull like that one. I seen some good ones like that, but it just didn't work out.

Thanks for all your comments, I will pass them on to my buddy. It was a fun hunt even though the weather was very unpredictable. It started out in the 70's, dry and dusty. Then it ended wet and muddy, with lots of thunder and lightning. Our wall tents got flooded out by one big storm on Tuesday. The muzzleloader hunt should be unbelievable on the Lasals because the bulls were just starting to heat up. Should be a blast for any who are lucky enough to have a tag. My buddy who shot this bull had one of the two premium tags for the Lasals. He drew the tag with 3 bonus points! Even better, he didn't even relize he was putting in for the premium tag, he thought he was putting in for the early rifle tag. His luck continued right up through when he shot his bull. It was a great time in some great country.
