Last minute opportunity till Dec 15th Mule Deer or WT or Combo in southern Alberta. Go on a truly epic mule deer hunt with a possible combo for whitetails. Average mule deer hunt lasts less than 3 days, white tail I would give yourself 5 days. Hunts are 6 days long.
Mule deer bucks average 150-180 and get over 190 plus. 99% opportunity at bucks over 150 and 70% bucks over 160s. This is a great opportunity to shoot a big, thick neck, heavy mule deer. We have shot 7 bucks in 2 weeks rangng from 155- 178. This is a great last minute hunt opportunity. Hunt area is 2 1/2 hours south of Calgary AB. Mule deer are the focus. Whitetails are a bonus on this hunt.
White tail deer average 130-150 plus into the 160s. Hunt out of blinds on the river bottoms and catch rutting bucks.
