Late fawns?

Was scouting this weekend, and saw a surprising number of bucks.

But more surprising was the numbers of tiny fawns. Cute little fellers that hop more than walk.

But it was interesting to me that there were so many that look like they were from a later breeding cycle. Anyone else seeing similar?

Anyone know why Elkass lives in the basin? No bucks, no does. No fawns. Everyone rides at screwing the mtn.

Everything is 3 to 4 weeks behind normal from antler growth to green up on the mountain.

Ive been out to more arid part of the deer range and there’s fawns that look fairly normal. However deer are harder to find. Only seen one buck so far. think there’s just a lot more feed than usual where I’m at
