I have enjoyed all the photos so many of you post here of your various outdoor adventures. Thanks so much for bringing a bit of your area's outdoors into my home!
Here are a few pics of a recent fly fishing trip to Wyoming. I'm a relative rookie when it comes to fly fishing and had never fished in this region near Jackson. My previous fly fishing experiences had been limited to the California Sierra's and tossing poppers at bass and stripers along the Colorado River in AZ.
Three friends of mine from Utah graciously invited me along on their annual fly fishing trip and I had a grand time. Those of you who live in this country are blessed. It is beautiful!
I didn't land very many fish, but I did have over 70 strikes, just couldn't quite get the barbless hook set quick enough and long enough to get them into the net. I'll do better next year with some practice. Hope you enjoy the pics. FYI, I took them with a Canon PowerShot S1 IS 3.2 MP camera.
