my Dad and i drew,i hunted with a guy in 03 late there.Lots of people,lots of shooting around us near us at us.he got a bull would like some pointers to get away from the firing line,maybe where some serious walking would pay off. thanks

Hard to get away from roads in this unit unless you drop off into sycamore.

Is that ethical?

Well, good luck with that. There are a lot of people out and about during the hunt, and even Sycamore canyon gets hit really hard. I would not expect to be able to get away from everyone, but a satrter would be to hunt the bigger hills in the unit if you don't mind some hiking.
