I see the fire is now 1500 acres and 5% contained. 457 firefighters on scene. Thanks for the update. Let's hope for low wind and high humidity!

Saw it from the air flying out of Vegas. It looked like a massive volcano erupting from a distance with the thickness of all the smoke. God bless everybody over there.

Also looked like there were at least two more smaller fires farther to the east.
