Leftover youth tags

Got another email from NM game and fish about available elk youth tags and wondered if someone could give me the lowdown on the late season hunts I saw listed, never really saw any place to look up success rates, etc. Thanks for any info, I hate building up a hunt for my kid and it turning out poorly.

I just bought one for 16D. They're going FAST. You need to act NOW or you'll likely miss the boat for the decent units.

I've never hunted one of the 16's but I would get one of those for rifle, or unit 15 or 17 for muzzleloader. 53 up North is probably a decent one as well.
