After talking to leica warranty dept and not getting any response from them. i called Cabelas back and they said to send it back to them and they would send me a new one. They oviously have alittle more pull than a single consumer.My hats of to Cabelas for taking care of it even though it was a month past Cabelas warranty. now i am going to sell it and buy a Swarovski they are water proof instead of resistent.
