I've died and gone to heaven. My wife asked me today to buy her a lever action .22. She wants to start going plinking and p-dog hunting with me. Anyway, anyone recommend a good little level action? Was looking at the Browning BL-22's but they are a little pricey. Thanks!

OddNut1;

Take a look at the Henry .22 lever actions on Gunbroker or Gunsamerica. I think it will fit your needs. $219.00 new in the box. I have never used this model, but I have heard very good feedback from people who have used it.

I am a Marlin man myself.
Although them Henry actions are like "buttah".

Them .22 levers sure are fun! (and cheap on ammo)

Congrats on getting the wife involved.

Ahhh that brings back memories. My dad bought me a .22 Ithica model 72 lever action with the money I made from mowing lawns back in the summer of 1973. I paid $75 for it. I see now it has tripled in value and mine is still like new.
