LAST EDITED ON Mar-16-12 AT 00:59AM (MST)[p]My best friend, who has been a big contributor here over the years lost his battle with cancer today at 53, after 2.5 years. He was a defender of wild lands and wild life. He was able to donate a conservation easement 8 weeks ago, impeding his title and NEVER allowing development of his hunting land, where his ashes will be spread Sunday. Strong bonds and memories are made over a gut pile. TK, I miss your emails, banter, and excitement for the hunt already. i went to forward a wolf hunt update today and his email was staring at me. Never take a day afield for granted. Every day is a gift. Remember that when we passionately defend our positions.
"I work to hunt" T.K. My dear friend, will be missed. Whitetails in Wisconsin are better off because of good hunters like You. I only hope all of You can experience such a friend. So the next time You want to lay into a fellow MM er, just remember, we are all on the same side and your days afield are numbered.Enjoy and cherish your hunting buddies, please, someday the banter will not be possible.
